Learn to dance at Austin Town Hall

Learn to dance and enjoy live music at SummerDance in the Parks – an admission-free series that’s will be held at Austin Town Hall, 5610 W. Lake St., in both July and August.

The SummerDance series offers introductory one-hour dance lessons by professional instructors at 6 p.m. followed by live music and dancing from 7 to 9 p.m.

Don’t miss the fun in Austin on these dates:

July 24: The NuBlu Band plays R&B, and The Majestic Gents teaches Chicago steppin’.

Aug. 21: Carpacho y su SuperCombo plays Colombian and salsa music, and Latin Rhythms teaches salsa.

SummerDance in the Parks is presented as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and the Chicago Park District.
