The Westside Health Authority will hold a “Diabetes 101 Causes, Prevention & Management” session at the Austin Town Hall, 5610 W. Lake St., Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Guest speakers will talk about determining the risk of diabetes in the African-American community, conduct assessments of diabetes knowledge and discuss how to prevent and manage diabetes.
