Easter egg hunt set for Moore Park

By |

The Chicago Park District hops to it this spring by hosting dozens of egg hunts, including one April 15 at Moore Park, 5085 W. Adams St.

Most events will feature treats, prizes, face painting, arts and crafts, plus photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Some activities may require pre-registration due to limited space. Many programs are admission free or have nominal entrance fees. Participants should call the individual parks for additional information.

One of this year’s highlights is the 8th annual “egg-stravaganza” at Soldier Field, 1410 S. Museum Campus Drive. Presented by Dominick’s, it’s the largest admission-free candy grab in Chicago and will be held Sunday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 312-235-7000.

The Moore Park event will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is $2 and includes a photo with the bunny; the egg hunt is for ages 5 to 10, with other activities for ages 6 to 12. For more information, call 773-287-0561.
