AIDS mural in Austin debuts

On Saturday, the Austin community gathered to unveil a mural dedicated to bringing awareness about AIDS. See our video about the mural, which is part of a memorial garden built in honor of longtime activists Ed Bailey and Leola Spann.

  2. My mother was Leola Spann, and she would have loved the mural and what it stands for. She was always up for a good fight. Thank you for keeping the fight and the hope alive, there is a way and there is a cure for AIDS. God Bless you.
