In the 5700 block of Division Street, there’s a beautiful community garden. Longtime Austin resident Irma Ferba created the garden in 1996, and with the help of others, it continues to blossom. Ferba has a lovely view of the garden from her home, and so does anyone walking, biking or driving down Division Street or visiting Ald. Deborah Graham’s office. Check out more photos here.
We just learned that the annual garden tour is tomorrow, Saturday July 31. It begins at 10 a.m. at 1249 N. Mayfield and ends back at the same address with refreshments. Come enjoy the flowers!
