Deadline to apply for $500 from city extended until end of the month

The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services is accepting applications for the Chicago Resiliency Fund 2.0 until 5 p.m. Dec. 31.

Up to 4,000 eligible residents will receive a one-time, $500 relief payment.

To be eligible applicants must live in Chicago; be 18 years or older; have a household income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level (which is $69,090 for a household of three); and filed a 2019 tax return and claimed a dependent 17 years or older.
