The city of Chicago is hosting three 2022 Budget Engagement Forums this week that will update the public on key initiatives including the upcoming 2022 budget and seek feedback from Chicagoans.
West Siders are encouraged to attend tonight’s forum, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Malcolm X College Gymnasium, 1900 W. Jackson Blvd. Some of the issues groups like Austin Coming Together will be raising will be the Austin Eats project as well as restorative justice initiatives.
There will also be a city resource fair beforehand from 5 to 6 p.m. You can register here.
If you have questions or would like to engage in the ongoing 2022 budget process, along with other Austin residents, contact Nicole Marcus, neighborhood network liaison at Austin Coming Together at nmarcus@austincomingtogether.org.
