A memorandum of understanding has been signed that will allow the Leaders Network to open a branch on the West Side. The faith leaders group is still seeking donations.
The first 40 young people ages 14 to 24 to sign up for Saturday’s event will receive a $100 stipend. Be part of a day of creative thinking and making connections – from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Austin Library branch, 5615 W. Race Ave.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Thursday with Westside Health Authority. The new location is opening with support from BMO, Chicago Bulls Charities, GTCR and United Scrap Metal.
